Advertising Information

What is the El Paso Journal?

The El Paso Journal is the hometown newspaper covering news in the El Paso area including Gridley, Secor, Kappa, and Panola.  The Journal is distributed weekly on Wednesday to the area we serve with a circulation of 1,100.  We offer more local government news, school news, sports news, council meeting coverage, and school board proceedings than any other source.

Why advertise with us?

Because of the paper's longer shelf life, an advertisement in the El Paso Journal is seen frequently throughout the week.  A daily newspaper has a 1-day shelf life.  A weekly newspaper has a 7-day shelf life. National statistics indicate that a weekly newspaper will stay in the house 3-5 days and will be seen by more than person multiple times. This is the paper people refer to for sports schedules, seasonal events, park district programs and other local events.
